Stuttgart Technical University of Applied Sciences (HFT) welcomes students from all over the world. Our International Study Programme offers courses for all study levels, Summer Schools and five international Master's degree programmes.

International Study Programme

The International Study Programme (ISP) includes courses from all the areas of study at HFT Stuttgart as well as courses on interdisciplinary (elective) subjects for international students.

The subject-specific courses may vary every semester, due to availability. Students are able to choose courses out of their original area of
study and can also choose courses open to multiple areas of study.

Our International Summer School in Stuttgart gives you the tools to thrive in global teams: sharpen your skills in intercultural communication, international project management and team collaboration.

You’ll apply what you learn by working on a real project in an international group, supported by experts and inspired by insights from leading local companies

Specials & Support for Incomings

Buddy Program

Buddies are volunteer HFT students who help incoming students settle in, find their way around campus and answer questions about studying and living in Stuttgart.

Welcome Events

To ensure a good start, we welcome all international students with special Welcome Events.

International Coffee break

Regular events for students to meet, network, and practice English in a relaxed setting.

Consulting for Incomings

The International Office supports international students with general questions, especially on funding and cultural programs. Consultations are available via phone, email, Zoom or in person - confidential if needed.

Leisure Activities

The International Office organizes trips in and around Stuttgart, giving incoming students the chance to explore Germany and connect with others.
